PERKS:

• FREE for all to participate on Friday and only $35 to participate on Saturday (which also registers you to participate in First Friday Art Crawls until June 30, 2025.

• People’s Choice cash prizes! Participants can pay $1 to vote for their favorite Buskers! Cash prizes will be given to the top three buskers!

• Raffle Tickets: Each busker will receive a raffle ticket to be entered to win any of the prizes.

• Reusable Sign: Each Busker will be given a personalized sign that will provide the audience information about you, where to find you, and a QR code to tip you.
  

WHAT TO KNOW

• Who: “Buskers” - all creatives who want to participate - Visual artists of all mediums, performers of all expressions, musicians, dancers, bands, jugglers, magicians. (Please be family-friendly!)

• Permissions: Due to town policies, all artists and creatives must register to participate. Your sign will be your permit.

• Busker Locations: On Friday, your street placement will be assigned unless you are a floater. Floaters may move freely about the streets within your designated zone. Most buskers will alert you of your placement when you check in. Saturday will be more fluid. Performers and musicians may set up wherever they want. Art vendors may be placed (TBD).

• Placement: You must stay in the assigned place. We strategically place Buskers to avoid overlapping noises, provide a variety of experiences for the audience, and draw attention to specific areas of the streets. If you move without asking, you could be prevented from participating.

• Payments: Buskers are responsible for tendering their sales. Bring your payment processors and cash for change. Venmo QR codes will be printed with your sign.

• Experience: This fest is all about experiencing the arts. Think outside the box and give people an experience! Buskers selling handmade items should demonstrate or have samples for people to try their own,

WHAT TO BRING

• Artists are responsible for bringing their tables, fixtures, payment processors, etc.

• If you bring a table, we would highly suggest that you bring a tablecloth. (A good aesthetic helps to sell!)

• Bring Lights! It will get dark! Solar or battery only, unless you have a power bank for electric lights.

• Tip Jar! If you don’t make it easy for people to give, they won’t! Bring that tip jar and make sure people can see it

• Oktoberfest-themed costumes or decor to lean into the Boonetoberfest festivities.

• Artists should only bring a manageable amount of product. Please do not overload your space; you will regret it. If you'd like, you can leave backup inventory in your car.

• Bring help - if you think you will need it.

WHAT TO EXPECT

• Artists can set up between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Friday. Saturday starts at noon—come and go as you please if you are placed on the streets. Parking lot vendors at the Biergarten must arrive before noon to set up.

• On Friday, we will provide volunteers to help quickly unload from loading zones and stand with stuff while solo artists go to the park, but we cannot guarantee it. If you can bring a friend to help with setup and breakdown, please do so. PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU NEED SPECIAL ACCOMMODATION.

• We suggest you bring a wagon to help move items from your parked car to your street placement.

• We cannot guarantee help setting up or breaking down, but we are trying to station help in each Zone.

• Free parking will be available in the library parking lot, and you will receive a special parking permit at check-in. You may park on the street if you find a place close to your Busking location. Be sure to pay before 5 p.m.!
