NC Arts Grants

  • Grassroots Grants

    This grant is for nonprofit organizations to apply for arts programming. This is an annual grant. Applications are typically due by August and awarded by September. (We cannot send payment until we receive it from the NC Arts Council.)

  • Artist Support Grant

    Professional Artists are encouraged to apply. This grant serves a four-county region. Allegany, Ashe, Wilkes, and Watauga residents are eligible. It is meant to advance your career by providing professional development, purchase of equipment, or special projects.

Special Thanks to NC Arts!

Thanks to the generous support of the NC Arts Council, we are able to distribute over $19,000 to local creative arts organizations, helping bring exciting new projects to life. From vibrant jazz festivals to inclusive arts initiatives, this year’s recipients are making a profound impact on our community, fostering creativity and connection throughout the High Country.
