Upcoming Open Gallery Exhibitions:
September – Portraits of Our Community – This is when you are invited to submit works of art which you feel describe our community in some way. There is no entry fee. A People’s Choice Prize will be awarded. More info TBA soon.
October – Size Does Matter – This will be an open invitation with an entry fee of $10/piece. The WCAC will provide a piece of special paper – all the same size – and the artist will create something on that piece of paper. Prizes will again be awarded. More info TBA soon.
November – Holiday Originals – You need to be working ahead in order to have plenty of holiday decorating, holiday themed, or potential holiday gifts available for purchase. Unlike other gallery exhibitions, purchasers will be allowed to take the works at the time of the sale. Artists should plan to have more items available to substitute for sold items – so the show will never get old and shoppers will have to keep coming back for more! Great time to get that holiday shopping done BEFORE the actual holidays! More info TBA soon.
