Registration:  Registration fees must be paid at the time of registration.  Registrations are non-transferable.  A fee will be charged for returned checks.   Note: Workshops without a minimum number of registrations may be cancelled.

Scholarships:  Scholarships are available.  Please contact the Arts Council for more information at

Materials:  A suggested list of materials needed for the workshop will be provided and participants will be responsible for acquiring the listed items.  In workshops where materials are provided, a materials fee will be required, payable to the instructor, on the first day of class.

Inclement Weather/Cancellations:  The Watauga County Arts Council reserves the right to cancel workshops which do not achieve the minimum number of registrations.   In the case of inclement weather, workshops will be rescheduled if at all possible.  Announcements will be made on the WCAC Facebook page, Ray’s Weather, and

Refunds: The Watauga County Arts Council has a “No-Refund Policy.” Refunds will not be issued for workshops once payments have been processed.  We understand that last minute emergencies, illnesses, or conflicts come up that can’t be controlled, and we are truly sorry, but due to committed expenses on the part of the Watauga County Arts Council, we are not able to make exceptions.  The purchase of cancellation insurance is highly recommended to protect yourself if an unforeseen personal emergency should arise.  Refunds will be made for any workshops that are cancelled and for workshops that require a participant minimum that is unmet.

Notice of Nondiscriminatory Policy: The Watauga County Arts Council admits students of any race, color, national origin, sexual orientation, and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to its students.  WCAC does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admission policies, scholarship, or other WCAC administered programs.
