2011 Summer Music Lessons at Jones House

The Watauga County Arts Council is now enrolling for summer music lessons at the Jones House Cultural and Community Center in downtown Boone.  Lessons are open to all ages, kids and adults, with a focus on playing levels from rank beginner through intermediate.  Weekly group lessons will be offered in three 5-week sessions on Thursday afternoons and evenings.  Instruction will be offered in fiddle, banjo, guitar, mandolin, dulcimer, and flatfoot dance.  Each 5-week session costs $50.  Rental instruments are available for $10 per session.  To enroll in classes or find out more information, contact Mark Freed and the Watauga County Arts Council at 264-1789 or mark@watauga-arts.org

The three sessions will be:
Session 1 - between May 26 - June 23
Session 2 - between June 30 - July 28
Session 3 - between Aug 4 - Sept 1
